About Science and Technology Centre

Edutainment and popularization of science are the themes of the Science & Technology Centre which was designed by the master architect Josef Pleskot and opened in September 2014. The striking mirrored facade hides four permanent interactive exhibitions: Children’s World, World of Science and Inventions, World of Civilization and World of Nature.

Over 200 interactive exhibits to try out, have fun with and learn from, will be a good time spent for everyone, regardless of age. Science & Technology Centre is open to public but also for schools, offering educational programs which take place in our classrooms, labs and workshop rooms.

To get the full experience, a 3D cinema is part of the building, and it offers comfortable seats for 194 people, huge projection screen (18*10m), and BBC nature & science documentaries. Theatre of Science will show you scientific lab experiments up close and personal, and a foyer hall space reserved for temporary exhibitions has a different exhibition to check out every few months. We recommend you reserve approx. 4-5 hours for your visit.
