About Science and Technology Centre

The popular educational Science and Technology Centre, designed by the famous architect Josef Pleskot, was opened in September 2014. Behind the characteristic mirror façade are hidden 4 interactive expositions: Children’s World, the World of Science and Inventions, the World of Civilization, and the World of Nature.

The Science and Technology Centre offers superior 3D cinema with a projection screen of impressive size (10 x 18 meters).  The cinema with a capacity of 194 people offers visitors the opportunity to watch science and geography documentaries produced by the BBC.

You can also find there hundreds of entertaining and educational attractions that will not amuse only children but also adults. The Science and Technology Centre welcomes the public but also schools and is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, and workshops. To spice up a family trip, visit the popular science show in the Theatre of Science. The Science and Technology Centre also arranges various attractive temporary exhibitions. An average visit of the entire exhibition takes between 4 to 5 hours.
